Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2012

Carlina Duran (25 years old) won the Miss Dominican Republic 2012 title and crown by Dalia Fernandez, last year's winner, this April 17th at Renaissance Auditorio de Festival del Hotel Jaragua, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The show was hosted by José Luis Aguiló, Hony Estrella and Boris Bolívar. 37 hopefuls vied for the title but only 5 of them will get the chance of representing Dominican Republic in 5 pageants.

Carlina competed at Miss Tourism Queen International 2011, won the Best in Gown award and was a semifinalist. She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2012.
