:: BITS OF MY WEEK ::

Another week has passed and yet again it`s time for sharing bits & pieces from my life. :) 

I guess it was a good week, even though It`s always possible to do better (also worse), but I think the right way is to think that you can always do better than before. At least you have a new goal in front of you, which is always good & fun. 

Today is a productive day for me, I finished reading a book (Haruki Murakami  - What I talk about when I talk about running) , than I hang out with my parents a bit, continued with writing my thesis & now I felt it`s time to make a short stop on the blog, so I`m here writing this post. :)

Anyway the photos are telling you that :

1 I went to a concert at the castle in my hometown, which I think it`s the perfect ambient for this kind of things.

2 + 3  Chilled at my friend`s place, where we were chasing her cat around all day long cuz he played hide & seek with us

4 Used the bike a lot, since my car died the other day 

5 I found this gramophone so I had to see if it`s still working....yup, it`s working. 

6 My parents playing cards.. 

7 The chillout spot under the apple tree, where I enjoy the nature.. 

Haha and I just realized there is no food in the photos & with that thought I became hungry so I`m off to the kitchen now... :D

:: NEW IN ::

I usually don`t buy things on sales, cuz I don`t really like the crowd and the rush, but lately (like the past few years) we have presales, so the sales are not that bad anymore. This year I purchased quite  few things and I`m happy that I went on a coffee that day, cuz I ended up going from store to store with my friend & in the end we had a really good day together. 

Btw I`m really sick of everyday routine, so I can`t wait for my holidays to begin, cuz I really need some relaxing time. Also my b-day is next month and I`ll spend it with my good friends that I met in Lisbon during my erasmus. We have reunions like twice a year & summer one is starting exactly on the 17th of August (my bday) ! It `s the best possible thing/gift that can happen to me & it`s already the second time in the same place with the best people! :) Of course I`m super excited! 

What about ur summer holidays? You already came back or are you still in the waiting mode? :)

:: FILM :: THE HELP ::

I watched this yesterday before going to sleep and I did not wake up pretty, cuz I cried my eyes out. :)

I should write this yesterday when I was still full of emotions and thoughts, but I can say,that everybody should watch a movie or two like this, cuz it`s good for a human moral, which people seems to forget so easily. Anyway, another good movie that is worth to be seen - IMDB (8,1/10).

Do you have any suggestions what should be my next one?

If you want to be creative you need a good working space, like these below for example.  :) 

I`m not saying that you can`t be creative otherwise, but it definitely helps if you have a pretty surrounding and a neat bright space. ;) 

My favorite would be number two and the last one, cuz of the rustic touch.

:: LA CUISINE, C'EST MON TRUC ! ::

Haha, I totally used google translator for the title, because I don`t know a thing about the french language, except the most simple things & a few sentences, that my friend Pierre thought me a few years ago. The deal was, that he should give me a new sentence each week, but in the end, I think we ended up with four or five sentences. :)
Today it was one of those rainy days, that are perfect for reading & baking. Ahh, I love days like this, with no rush at all, taking all the time just for yourself. 
I wanted to make something sweet at first, but than I had a wish for quiche (it even rhymes, how cool is that?!) for quite a while, so I decided to go with the salty lunch option. :) 
I found recipe online for this one, but the thing was I didn`t really had all the main ingredients, so I just opened the fridge and improvised a bit & it turned out really good. :)

:: BITS OF MY WEEK ::

I`m waiting for the weekend to begin, so I`m really happy cuz tomorrow is Friday.

Is there any special reason that I`m waiting for the weekend? No, not really. It`s just because I`ll have a lot of time for myself and my projects! On Saturday there is already another art fair in Celje, which is really amazing and I`m looking forward to go there and see all the ladies with their beautiful crafties (I`m not sure that`s even a word, but I kind of like it). :) 

Ahh btw today I`m a good girl, so after I came from work I started cleaning the house. First I made a playlist, than I turned speakers really loud and than it was time to start the show cleaning...It`s already past lunch time, so the next thing on my list is cooking. I`ll make some cauliflower soup and maybe tortillas...we`ll see. :) 

I posted a set of photos from this week & the special one is the second one with my friend Jana. It was a goodbye cuz the next morning she went on a trip to Mexico + she really wanted to be on the blog. :)

I know it`s Monday, but try to make the best out of it! ;) 

Yesterday I was feeling kind of down in the afternoon, but than I went for a walk with my friends and picked up this flowers on the way, so I had a pretty bouquet when I came home. It made me feel better.

:: BITS OF MY WEEK ::

Well, my life was much more interesting when I was a student and had shit loads of free time, so I could go and do whatever/whenever, but being an "adult" with a serious job, isn`t that bad as well, it just brings a lot more adjustments & obligations. 

Like I said a couple of times before I`m a summer child, which means I love summer + I was born in August (yup, my b-day is coming!). Sea, sun, beach  & music = me happy! :) 

Picnics, summer parties, hiking, just hanging around & drinking lemonade, reading a book under the tree, summer breeze, hot days, summer dresses.... seriously, what`s here not to love!? 

Anyway, I made a new label - "Bits & pieces from last week" and it will look kind of like this post (+ I did something similar before here and here) & that`s it. 

Have a great Saturday, my plan is to read, watch a movie, go running before the rain starts and maybe have a drink with friends & fall asleep early cuz I`d really need that! :)

Yu Mi Kim (22, 1.76 m) wins Miss Korea 2012 title and crown representing Seoul at an event held at Peace Hall, Seoul. She will represent Korea at Miss Universe 2013.

Jung Bin Lee will represent her country at Miss International 2012 at Okinawa, Japan this October. Sarah Kim will represent her country at Miss Earth 2012 which may be held at Bali, Indonesia/Qatar this October as well.

:: cART - ART FAIR IN CELJE ::

This Saturday we had an art fair (FB) in my hometown (Celje), which I was really happy about, because we don`t have much events like this (bravo girls!). I really enjoyed it, even though it was quite small. I hope that next time there will be even more artists participating, because I know quite some people that are doing amazing things and would totally fit in! I have a feeling that our lil town is finally waking up, so after they finish with renovating the city center, I hope that people will finally realize that there is more than suburban shopping malls!

Well, my Saturday was perfect! First art fair and than I met girls for a coffee "at the beach" (amazing chillout place next to a river which I mentioned already here), after that I went to say hello to Mimi cuz she was working at Vila Malina, so it was cool beacuse I did two things in one (say hello to a friend and check what`s new in the shop) and for the grand finale, we had a picnic at Iva`s place where we enjoyed the sun, lemonade and a good company.  :) 

Ah, I can just wish for more days like this.
