I`m sick. Blah. Running nose, lot`s of tea, sleeping marathons, morning sauna moments before hitting the shower... you know, the usual sickness treatment. 

Today I`m a bit better, I can even look in the screen for a bit, but just a bit, so, I`m going to be short ..  

Ah, 14th of February and Valentine`s day.... what can I say, I`m not a fan (sorry, I know, so ungirlish of me (is that a word?)), but anyway, pinterest & all the blogs, are full with this pretty prints and DIY projects, so I said, why not have a little fun with that anyway! 

In this post, I`ve chosen four of the printables that I really liked and in the next one, I`ll show you my favourite diy projects. ;)

|Postcards from Slovenia| :: HEY, I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU :: guess what? ::

Guys, here they are .. Postcards from Slovenia! ;) Everything really started with this post, when I got an email from a very nice lady, that wanted to buy my postcards (all the way from Singapore btw). At that time I wasn`t really thinking about selling them, but yeah, why not? 

They are available separately or in a package and on two different types of paper. One is more smooth, so they look like more of a photo and the other one has more texture, so they look more like paintings. Depends what you like, more artistic look or more of a traditional one. So, please tell me, what do you think?! What`s your favourite one?

I think they are a beautiful gift for your foreign friends or friends that are studying/living abroad + they look great on the wall/refrigerator or in your notebooks/diaries. :)

:: A WEEKEND DETOX ::

It`s Friday, which means we have a whole weekend to enjoy the little things, so try to do that. Take a moment, just for yourself, do something you haven`t done for a while, but makes you really happy. I got creative again.. it`s weird, even though I`m definitely a summer person all I needed was a little bit of rain and a gentle breeze, so I can breathe normally again and my brains can function without limitation of an constant overheating (if you know what I mean). :) 

Anyhow....I did a little diy project today. I used Ikea table runner, potato, black colour and than I stamped and stamped some more, to get smth Ferm Living like out of it. 

It worked, I love it. ;)

:: WEEKLY (DIY) |VALENTINE`S| INSPIRATION ::

Valentine`s Day is right around the corner and I still haven`t post anything about it. I saw so many cool DIY ideas + I have some of my own, but the time is not on my side. So, here are some of the ideas I really love that I found on pinterest/tumblr. I`m not really a big fan of Valentine`s (I think I wrote something similar last year as well), but it`s a holiday that gives you a chance to be super creative with red/pink, hearts and chocolate......I`m a girl, so how could I resist to that? :)

:: DIY :: PERSONAL MUGS ::

I haven`t post any diy projects for a while now and it`s time to catch up! I`ve seen so many diy`s about personal mugs and it`s actually weird I needed so long to do it by myself, cuz I really love this idea.

I just need to get my hands on sharpies! (if anyone know what`s the best way to get them please let me know - that goes out to you Slovenian people). Anyway I think a personal mug can make a really nice gift for your friends/surprise for you love ones & all you need is just a little bit of imagination and a steady hand. :)

Že nekaj časa nisem naredila nobene "naredi sam" objave in sedaj je čas, da to nadoknadimo! Zadnje čase sem videla toliko idej za osebne šalčke, ki so me popolnoma navdušile in je kar malce čudno, da sem potrebovala toliko časa, preden sem se tudi sama spravila k stvari in naredila nekaj svojega. 

Že dlje časa iščem Sharpije, tako da, če kdo mogoče ve kje jih najdem, bom zelo vesela, če mi to informacijo tudi zaupa! ;) Skratka, šalčka narejena z vašim motivom je lahko krasno darilo za vaše prijatelje ali pa lepo presenečenje za vaše najdražje. Najlepše pa je to, da vse kar potrebujete je malce domišljije in mirna roka! ;) 

V originalu je bila ta objava narejena za Wannabe Magazine, vendar sem morala narediti še angleško verzijo, za vse tiste, ki ne razumejo srbsko, potem sem si pa rekla, da bi bilo edino pravilno, da napišem še v slovenščini. :)

:: DIY | CHRISTMAS TREE ::

This is the tree I was telling you about in one of the previous posts. It`s just a preview, cuz I still need to decorate it properly, so this is basically just for the feeling how does the tree look like. The inspiration of course came from Pinterest, but we changed it a bit. I still need to have one more creative afternoon where I`ll make lots of ornaments + find some twinkling pretty lights & then it`s going to be perfect. ;)

To je tista smrekica o kateri sem vam govorila dve objavi nazaj. V bistvu je to samo nek "predogled" za občutek kako izgleda, ker jo morava še do konca okrasiti. Inspiracijo sva našla na pinterestu, vendar sva jo seveda malce spremenila. Moram pa imeti še eno kreativno popoldne za izdelovanje okraskov in pa najti primerne lučke, da bo smrečica popolna! ;)

:: DIY | HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS/TAGS | ::

This is the first round ("trial version") of my home made ornaments/tags. I must say they came out pretty cool, but I learned what I want to do different on the second time. I saw something similar a while ago on pinterest and since than it was on my mind to create something like that. So, today, I finally did it (actually I started yesterday, cuz the ornaments had to be dried first, before making any impovements on them). 

Anyway, we have a very special x-mass tree this year, that will need some special ornaments (natural + home made). I`ll post the tree tomorrow so you`ll see what I`m talking about, but first I need to work on it a bit more.

To je prva poskusna verzija domačih okraskov/oznak. Moram reči, da sem kar zadovoljna kako so na koncu izpadli, vendar pa sem se pri samem delu naučila, kaj vse moram drugič narediti drugače. V mislim imam kar nekaj izboljšav in nekaj novih idej glede oblik/napisov/barv....

Nekaj podobnega sem že pred časom zasledila na pinterestu in od takrat dalje sem skoz razmišljala, kako bom nekaj podobnega naredila sama in voila, danes mi je le uspelo. No, v bistvu sem jih naredila že včeraj, ker se morajo nekaj časa sušiti, da jih lahko potem oblikujem/porišem po želji.

Skratka, letos imava prav posebno smrečico, za katero potrebujeva posebne okraske (naravne + domače izdelave). Drevšček vam pokažem jutri, da boste vedeli o čem govorim, vendar ga moreva še malo dodelati.

Torej, kakšni se vam zdijo ti moji okraski?

:: HOLIDAYS | WRAPPING IDEAS ::

It`s been a week since my last post...phhhh it`s crazy how fast time passes by! 

I don`t have any special excuses for not posting, it`s just that I`m really busy (like always).

I used to enjoy the whole "december spirit thing" and now I can barely taste it from everything that`s going on, but that`s called life - if you live it, you must be busy. ;) (agree?)

So, wrapping ideas...always good to have some inspiration, right?

We still haven`t done "xmass shopping guides" that are in my mind for a while, so I`ll go first with the wrapping ideas and than the shopping guides, even though it would make much more sense in the other way.

Že cel teden je minil od moje zadnje objave...phh noro, kako hitro beži čas mimo nas! 

Nimam posebnih izgovorov zakaj blog ni bil nič "updejtan", preprosto v gužvi sem (zadnje čase je to itak stalnica).

Včasih sem še znala uživati vso to praznično vzdušje, sedaj pa se je ta občutek kar malo izgubil zaradi vsakdanjega tempa, ki narekuje današnje dni. Jah, takšno je življenje, če ga zajemaš s polno žlico -  mora biti "busy". (Se strinjate?)

Torej, ideje za zavijanje daril....inspiracija je vedno dobrodošla, kajne?

Še vedno mi ni uspelo narediti objav, ki jih imam v mislih že precej časa in sicer "vodič po prazničnih nakupih". Sicer bi bilo logično, če bi si objave sledile v obratnem vrstnem redu, pa vseeno, se boste že znašli. Mogoče je pa dobro, da imate prvo ideje za zavijanje, da bo potem lažje izbrati velikost daril. :) 

Skratka, upam, da vas spodnje slike navdušijo in prebudijo v vas kreativno žilico, da boste tudi sami darila zavili kar najlepše možno. Če boste vaše kreacije tudi poslikali, mi lahko slikce/ideje pošljete tudi na moj email in z veseljem jih bom delila s svojimi bralci.

:: CHRISTMAS TABLE SETTINGS | INSPIRATION | ::

Holidays are getting closer and that`s why I have to hurry up with all the ideas about the Christmas posts that are piling up in my head for a while now.  Oh, I`m so happy pinterest exists! :) 

My favorite would be the white/gold inspiration + I`d add a touch of red for a color contrast, just like this garland on the first photo. What do you think? Which one is your favorite?

:: DIY HOLIDAY DECOR ::

Yesterday I made this pretty holiday door decoration. What do you think? 

Včeraj sem ustvarjala in nastala je dekoracija za na vrata (lahko tudi steno). Kako se vam zdi?

You will need (Potrebuješ): 

• Pine Cones (borove storže)
• Golden spray (zlat sprej)
• Ribbon (trak)
• & a bit of your time (in malce časa) ;) 

So, all you have to do is spray the cones, wait a bit so they are dry and tie the ribbon around it. Easy, right? 

Vse kar je potrebno narediti je, da posprejaš storže in jih pustiš, da se posušijo. Nato zavežeš trakce kakor ti je pač všeč in voila, dekoracija je končana. Enostavno, kajne?

:: DIY ~ ADVENT WREATH ::

This was an easy DIY. All you have to do is to buy the wreath and than pimp it up as you like it. :) 

I love to go for a walk in the forrest and I always come home with something, usually cones (I really like to stock them up, cuz I never know when I`ll need them)!

To je bil eden lažjih "naredi sam" projektov. Vse kar potrebujete je že narejen venec, ki ga potem okrasite po svoje. Obožujem sprehode po gozdu in vsakič se vrnem z vrečko presenečenja, ki ponavadi vsebuje storže (kaj naj, če so pa tako vsestranska zadeva in nikoli ne vem, kdaj mi bodo prišli prav). To sem vam zaupala, ker se navezuje na ta projektič in sicer storže sem že prejšnji teden barvala oz. pomakala v belo barvo in sprejala z zlatim sprejem, da so sedaj lepi praznični. :)

You will need:

• Candles (sveče)
• Dry oranges (suhe pomaranče)
• Cinnamon sticks (cimetove palčke)
• Cones (storže)
• Golden spray (zlat sprej)
• Color for wood (I used white) (belo barvo za les)
• + whatever you like (maybe some walnuts, or the shell of it, acorns....) (+ karkoli vam je všeč, lahko lupine od orehov, želod,...)
• ... and of course Wreath, which you can buy or make it by yourself (in seveda venec, katerega lahko kupite ali pa naredite sami)

:: DIY :: WEEKLY INSPIRATION ::

 Like I wrote on my FB page it`s a busy week and I barely manage to keep up with everything that`s going on. I saw that my last post was on Sunday so I have to make some updates, but the thing is, that my weekend is already all planned up and I doubt there will be any time for bloging, but for sure I`ll take some photos. Tomorrow I have a field trip with my work, on Saturday there is again an art fair in Celje (+ my friend will be there for the first time, check it out - WoolAround - I love her work!) and afterwards I`m going to Austria (Ikea trip - yes, sadly we don`t have it in Slovenia, but that`s allright). Saturday night is reserved for a housewarming party of my friends and on Sunday I`m hoping for a small hiking trip + I have to do a lot of reading! So, that`s it....I shared all my plans with you, even though that wasn`t my intention, but I`m not going to erase the text now, cuz that wouldn`t really make a lot of sense, right?

Anyway If you are still reading this, than I guess you like my writing or you are just really bored at the moment, but either way thanks for sticking with me. ;)

Oh and about the photos I`ve picked....I love DIY interior ideas + I have a lot of ideas of what to do, but I need time for all of that. Well, I`m sure one day it will happen. :)
