Chairs are such a great thing. They always make me happy , especially when I can sit down on them :) hehe but for real , there are so many great designs on the world...This is just a few of the ones that I love, but there are not all here, some are still missing, becuase I can`t reveal you everything at once, right? :)

GOOD MORNING WITH COFFEE, SUN & ARCADE FIRE

So when I can`t sleep on saturday morning (I guess I got used to get up for work), the best possible thing to do, is to make yourself a big cup of coffee (I love the smell of the morning coffee in the house), put on some good music and go chill on the terrace/balcony and enjoy the morning, which is for me definitely the best part of the day (because of many reasons) :) Good thing is to go for a jog as well...but for that you have to be a morning person, which honestly, I am not. :)

So, do you dare to say, that packaging is not one of the main factors while deciding which product to buy? Well I can`t. I`m in love with attractive, bright, innovative packaging.

Today I`ve discovered the Mast brothers. They have some great chocolate (at least packaging and the videos are showing it like that) :) Check out the web site http://mastbrothers.com/, and go under the news section as well. I enjoyed it. :) Also you can check the video I`ve posted, its about how the chocolate is made, so it`s pretty cool to watch, especially if you are a chocolate fan :)

SUNDAY IN THE MOUNTAINS (Korošica)

 This year we have really late summer (but hey, better late than never right?). Untill now it was hot, but not that hot. This week is crazy, already for 3 days now it`s like 34/35 degrees and it will last untill the end of the week. Yey! Hm, the only bad thing is, that I have to go to work and write my thesis, but I can manage to have some fun anyway. :) I would prefer some seaside to cool down in the sea, but also mountains are a great way to get some fresh air and nice breeze + its a damn good exercise! ;)

So, yesterday we did some hiking and it was gooood. Again I forgot my camera (nothing unusual :) ) , so we took pictures with phone. (better some, than none) :D

 

GREEK (light) FOOD

Huh so this year I was in Greece and one thing that I loved there was food. They have good food!! :) I bought a cooking book ( I couldn`t resist ) , and I`m using it :) I`m sharing 2 recipes that are super simple and really good (and you dont really need a book for it :D ) .  Probably you`ve all tasted greek salad or tzatziki before, but if you are one of those who never did it, do it now!

 Ive shared this two (most known I think ) dishes because it`s summer here (30-34 degrees), so light food is the best ;) Next time we will talk about spinach pie (burek) & veal in tomato sauce with baked potatoes..mmmm

 GREEK SALAD

 

 SERVES 6

• 4 firm ripe tomatoes
• 1 cucumber
• 1 medium onion
• 1 green pepper
• 150 gr feta cheese
• a few ripe olives
• a few capers
• 1/2 cup olive oil 
• Sprinkling of oregano
• Salt

Wash the tomatoes, peek the cucumber and cut into slices. Cut the onion and pepper in rings. Place them in a salad bowl, add the olives, capers, oregano and salt, and mix lightly. Slice the feta chees, place it on top of the salad and dress with olive oil.

 TZATZIKI

SERVES 6

• 2 cups of strained full-fat yoghurt
• 1 medium cucumber
• 4 cloves of garlic, mashed to a paste
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• salt
• Pinch of pepper
• a little vinegar
• freshed dillweed, finely chopped
• a few ripe olives

Grate the peeled cucumber on a coarse grater and press as much liquid as possible out of it. Mix the cucumber with the rest of the ingredients. Garnish with the olives. 

:: CELJE - my hometown - BEAUTIFUL & GREEN ::

So this is Celje - my hometown. Beautiful & green ! Few days ago my ex-flatmate Inga visited me (she came from Berlin by car - respect!) , so we did some sightseeing (and we saw everything there is to see) and we were still done in like 2,5 hours! 

I took some photos from the castle because it was a really nice sunny day, so the view was fantastic! ;) (its even better than on the photos, cuz they re not the best quality).

So..this is my home. 

I also posted some photos weeks ago and you can see that post here. But its not oriented towards nature, so I maybe prefer this one. :)

So it seems like everywhere I look people are promoting this videos and I will do the same, because they are just amazing!! haha if this doesn`t wake up the traveler inside you, than I`m sorry, I think you are a bit weird. :) (c`mon it made me just grab my backpack and go somewhere again) :D 

So the story is : 3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.....

 = a trip of a lifetime.

I really enjoy hiking. Especially if I`m lucky and there is sun shining over the mountains. I always check weather forecast before I go, but anyway there is one destination (Velika planina) that I manage to go always when it˙s foggy,clouded or raining. I don`t trust weather forecast on the internet anymore) : )

If you are from Slovenia then you probably know it, and if you are foreigner...I recommend! You won`t regret it (good walk, amazing views, good food).. And for the people that don`t enjoy hiking or are just too lazy, don`t worry, they have a solution - gondola! :)

LIFE`S A MIXTAPE!

So I`ve been away for a long time (a month) and I had a great time. :) It was not just holidays that I spent in Greece (the report is still to come), even when I got home last week, there was so many things to do, that I was avoiding my computer and indoor activity. :)
C`mon like I`ve said before - I love summer. I love the smell of summer, birds, wind, sun, ice-cream, lemonade, BBQs, summer dresses, watermelon, oh and there is even my B-day ....anyway it`s a never-ending list. :)

So, I have to tell you what made me really happy this last week....do you remember the post I did about Deafmessanger (the prague based artist) that makes super cool diaries? :)
I finally own one of them , thanks to Sanja ! ( was a great early bday gift! )

P.S. My b-day is in exactly 10 days! :D

yeah, i love it. haha and the background..pure nature. :D

And the other cool thing was a gift that my friend Urška brought me from Berlin....
